Malvern Community Arts Council’s Have A Go weekend was a spectacular success. Over 350 people attended the Arts event, which took place over the weekend 13/14 September and was kindly supported by The Canterbury Community Trust.
The public were invited to take part in the many arts related activites provided by twelve local community groups, individuals and businesses: fibre art, felting, painting, sketching, card making, jewellery, spinning, patchwork, music, drama and dance. All ages came to the weekend, giving everything a try and staying all day, some people even returning the next day. It was a wonderful opportunity for the people of Malvern to discover new clubs to join, and we thank our fabulous participants for their time and energy. Everyone commented on what an enjoyable time they had spent and were eagerly looking forward to another one.
